Prezii Heights Is Carving His Own Lane Out of Durham
How the Durham artist is shaping his identity through music and fashion
Prezii Heights is one of those artists who carries his home with him in everything he does. He grew up in Durham, North Carolina, with Trinidadian roots and a single-mother household, which taught him early what focus and self-belief look like. That foundation shapes how he approaches both music and entrepreneurship.

Music was always his anchor, but his path goes beyond the studio. Prezii earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and won a $4,000 hackathon for creating a FEMA project to help communities in need. That same creative problem-solving shows up in his work today. He produces a lot of his own music, builds his sound from the ground up, and lets his flow shift based on mood instead of chasing trends.
His name has been growing locally, but his goals reach further than that. Last August, he released Steel Healing, a project centered on growth and resilience. His newest drop, GRACE, shows how he blends melody, storytelling, and emotion in a way that feels natural to him.
Outside of music, Prezii is developing his clothing brand VIERÈ, which focuses on confidence, luxury, and personal expression. What started as an idea has become a real extension of his identity and movement.
From recording on borrowed laptops to shaping every detail of his sound, Prezii has always focused on creating something real and moving forward with intention. He sees himself becoming one of the standout artists to emerge from North Carolina, and he is building the brand to support that path.
For Prezii Heights, this journey is about more than music. It is about legacy, community, and showing how creativity can take you further than any circumstance.
