Wasn’t most of that discontinued in 17? In 17 the button is just for opening the camera and snapping a picture.

I can still do it on the Air which was released at the same time. I think they just tweaked the defaults.

I just got a 17 and the controls shown in the screenshot weren't easy to find. Go to Settings > Camrera > Camera Control > [Controls] Camera Adjustments; when you toggle Adjustments on, a Customize option appears, click that, and you're at the screen screenshotted in the article.
