Now You See Me
When spirits reveal themselves
Just as I sat down to write this, I heard a scuffling sound, then a “Thunk!” followed by a cheerful “Meow!” from the other room, all in quick succession. This is a regular occurrence with my tuxedo kitty. Every now and then, despite the fact that he’s a senior, he still gets the zoomies and will run across the floor, slide into things, then happily meow immediately after as if to say, “I’m okay!” just before he takes off running again. It’s like a little game he plays, and it gets me laughing every time.
Just as that catches me off guard each time it happens, so do the times my guides visibly reveal themselves. They typically do so for fun, but I’m never expecting it. Falcon, in particular, enjoys showing off when he gets the chance. A while back, I was giving classes on working and communicating with spirits. During one of the classes, I was showing how you could use a simple birthday candle as a way to receive “Yes” and “No” answers from your guides. Falcon was happy to help with this demonstration, but once it was done and I tried to put the candle flame out, he started teasing me and, each time I put the flame out, he’d light it back up like one of those trick candles. He repeated this until he got the room laughing, at which point he finally let the flame go out.
Following this, during that same class, I asked if anyone would be interested in allowing Falcon to touch them so they could experience what that actually felt like. Someone volunteered, and when this happens, Falcon will typically go over, stand behind them, and place a hand lightly on their shoulder. However, that evening, Falcon decided he wanted to be more noticeable, so he actually visibly revealed himself as he walked over to the volunteer, who immediately saw this, as did others in the class, who gasped in awe. I hadn’t been expecting this and don’t know why Falcon decided to put on a show during this particular session, but it left the attendees with no doubt of who was in the room with them.
Another time, I was in a different location giving a class to a different group, and I was talking about types of spirits when suddenly, as I was talking, Falcon decided to reveal himself again, although this time, he appeared to the attendees while he was standing behind me. Because of this, I hadn’t noticed him until someone interrupted and said, “A man just appeared behind you!” Since I hadn’t seen him myself that time, I asked what he looked like, and the attendees gave the same description of him. Based on the description, I knew that it was Falcon, along with the fact that he was giggling, as he was quite pleased with himself about it.
The thing is, I really don’t know why Falcon chose to do this. He’s giggling now as he’s telling me, “I wanted to add validity to your classes and create an immersive experience.” Something to know, however, is that I never asked him to do this. He did this entirely on his own, so I was just as surprised as everyone else. With the other things we did in class, such as the candle work or him touching people, he and I had agreed on that beforehand. I say this because I want to make it clear that I don’t just expect him or my other guides to perform on command as if they’re doing party tricks.

If I just asked him on the spot to do something of this nature and expected him to do so, depending on the scenario and my approach, he might help me out, or if I were being demanding or showing off, he’d sit back and do nothing and let me embarrass myself. These things I’d done with Falcon were part of a planned lesson to teach others about spirit work, not a spectacle for entertainment.
Falcon also wants me to add that he isn’t the only one of my guides who’s done this. At another time, I’d reached out to someone and was on a video call with them when they told me that they could see a man and a woman standing behind me. I knew that the man was Falcon, but this time, one of my female guides had decided to reveal herself as well. She revealed herself to that same person, as well as a couple of other people, a few more times. In this case, however, rather than it being part of a lesson I was doing, my female guide had a specific purpose in connecting with these other people, which is why she’d made herself known.
One time when I was in the process of moving from the state I used to live in to where I am currently, I was driving through the mountains. It was raining, I was in heavy traffic due to construction, and I was trying to navigate an area alone that I wasn’t familiar with. I glanced up at my rearview mirror and saw a large chin, and I could tell immediately that it belonged to one of my fae guides.
What strikes me as funny now is that I was so used to seeing him regularly in my mind’s eye that it didn’t startle me and felt perfectly natural. Rather than being alarmed by it, I simply asked if he could move slightly to the side so I could check my mirror. He smiled and then vanished altogether. His purpose in appearing then was to let me know that I wasn’t alone and that he and my guides were right there with me. It didn’t frighten me, but rather, it gave me a sense of peace.
These aren’t the only times my guides have visibly revealed themselves to me or others, but these are the examples Falcon wanted me to share here. Sometimes, he’ll visibly appear sitting right next to me, or he’ll show up briefly behind me in a mirror. I guess, in a way, you could technically say that I’m “haunted,” but again, this isn’t something that scares me. Any time my guides have revealed themselves, it’s almost always been done in a fun, playful manner. It gives me reassurance that they truly are right there with me, and it brings me a sense of comfort.
I don’t really have a take-home message from this, and Falcon is saying that’s the purpose of today’s article. It’s not meant to be a heavy lesson, just a few examples of how spirit guides can physically, visibly manifest themselves in our lives.
