If You’re Ambitious But Lazy, Please Read This…!
Comment if you’ve got the guts to admit you’re lazy but want more
Let me run an experiment with you right now. Don’t worry, no math just a little trick to show how your mind works.
Look at your screen. Imagine you see three ice cream flavors say chocolate, vanilla, strawberry. Choose any two. That’s easy, right? You don’t even pause.
Now, imagine the screen changes. Suddenly there are twenty-four ice cream flavors: pistachio, mango, choco-chip, salted caramel, cookies & cream, berry, etc. Again, choose any two. Now it feels different.
You hesitate. You wonder, Which two? Did I pick the right ones? It takes more time, more mental energy.
This simple shift from 3 options to 24 shows something important about our brains. When there are too many choices, the brain freezes.
You become indecisive, anxious, sometimes regret your choice later (Maybe I should’ve chosen that other flavor).
This phenomenon is called choice overload.
