Read this when you don’t want to.
Well, the first step to reading something is to use your eyes. Fixate your irises on the words and shift your focus towards the page. But what happens if you don’t focus? What happens when you simply… don’t want to. Well… to put it simply, you just won’t read this. You. Reading this right now despite the severe urge to concentrate on something else is very astounding. Truely, this article may have no value. No reason to keep going. But yet you do! You must be filled with indignation right now, glancing back and fourth between my text and your other fixation, planning to close my article this instant. Now, you might be asking yourself. “Why make the title so that it’s persuading me to read this?” To answer that… well you’ll have to find out in the end. Let me tell a thought I’ve been thinking of recently. What is the point of anything? When you die, everything will stop. All impact you’ve made on the world will slowly be forgotten. Your body will degrade and rot, becoming one with nature. I have thought of it countless times and I think I have an answer for you. (I know, I have many questions to answer.) I think the true meaning of life is that… there is no meaning of life, no grand purpose we’re supposed to serve. We desperately cling onto things, trying to give purpose to our lives despite how small of an impact we make. It’s a scary thought when you think of it. But really, that’s fine. Just live. Live in the moment. The moments you can hold. The moment right now when you’re reading. The places you can go. The people you meet. And the real reason for me wanting you to read this article is also because… I can. I choose to spend my time (my time that is ticking down) on this article. So just live like its the last day every day and have fun. Sometimes, when you wait for too long, the things you wanted to do will go away before you can do it. Go ahead, make your future. Paint your world. I believe in you.
