A cubist representation of The Running Fence

As always, Introduce your topic.

The above collage of art depicts the idea of cubism from multiple perspectives on a piece of art. Louis Vauxcelles first coined the term cubism, and it has been one of the most influential movements in the art world in the 20th and 21st centuries. Cubism was a movement that was against the idea of images in shapes. Vauxcelles criticized the norm of artists to reduce the pictorial information in their artwork to simple geometrical shapes. In what he intended as pure derision, Vauxelles termed their artworks as a little cube. According to him, art can take a more abstract form, not just the geometrical portrayal popular with artists. The name stuck, and the movement that shifted away from geometrical representation became known as the cubism movement.

One of the fascinating ideas of cubism is cubism from multiple perspectives. The movement suggests that art can be viewed from different perspectives and angles to give various interpretations. This dominant interpretation of the movement was that multiple perspectives were used essentially to give a more conceptual and composite representation of art. Critiques have since argued that giving a piece of art and various perspectives gave it multiple interpretations to a greater truth about the art than the traditional naturalistic linear style. For instance, the art above can be viewed from different angles instead of viewing it from only one angle. If the artist just made one angle of the art influential, one of the pictures would show that it is held firmly on the ground throughout and that it is straight rather than slanting when there are, in fact, spaces between poles on the ground, and it is leaning on the direction the wind blows from. This one-view perspective is corrected by simply viewing the art from different angles.

Remember, Answer the Question

Cubism art and text are essential in denoting whether the art is legible in cubist art. In the above collage, the newspaper text in the upper left is vital. Onward and upward with the art is critical. It is a segment about arts that shape history in the legible newspaper “The New York Times.” the phrase onward and upward is also meaningful. Onward denotes the shift in artistic expression that keeps changing as time goes by. Essentially, this artwork is upward as it serves a great purpose in the community. It is unclear why the running fence is associated with the vote and a politician on a marble. However, the interpretation can be drawn from the fact that many people came together to perform this exercise despite different social and political affiliations. Yet, even in numerous collaborations, people still have obligations and responsibilities toward each other and the country at large. It is also conspicuous that the article is against political affiliations as the person advocating for people to vote speaks to empty seats; hence, the meaning is abstract.

Conclude

The Running Fence was a theatrical project that was relevant because it engaged people from all walks of life in California. The aim of the artwork was not to divide communities significantly. Instead, it was meant to symbolize unity in the magnificence of the canvas. According to the clause, the people of California have such fantastic topography that accents the importance of the art pieces to their unity.
