5 October ES Market Prep

11 min readOct 5, 2026

The analysis presented is generated from multiple models I have built using a Claude-Trading View crossover.
I look daily at the gamma perspective as well as where ‘value’ lies in the charts via volume profiles and Time Price Opportunity charts to determine an overall perspective on the market and key levels to initiate trades in the futures market. This is technical analysis for informational purposes, not financial advice.

The fifth test of 7810.50 just failed — but the market held its ground afterward

Friday opened at 7789.50, rallied straight through the morning, and tagged 7810.25 at 10:40 ET — essentially the exact level that’s capped this market four times already across the cycle (Tue wk1 7848.5, Fri wk2 7814.75, Mon wk2 7810.50 ×2). It failed a fifth time. Price reversed hard, selling to 7754 before closing at 7779 — below its own VAH (7790), near its own POC (7777). IB: high 7808.75, low 7773.50–35.25 pts; full RTH range 56.25 pts = 1.60× IB, with the real damage coming in a 10-minute poke past the IB high followed by a full-session reversal.
