Users & Groups

  • I’m creating a new user account in Active Directory for the ERPRIZE.COM organization, specifically in the Finance/Accounting department. The form asks for basic info like the person’s name and login username, in two formats (new-style and old-style). This is a task I do when a new employee joins — setting up their account so they can log into company computers and systems.

  • I’ve built out the OU structure for ERPRIZE.COM, organizing departments like Engineering, Finance, HR, and Sales — with Finance further split into Accounting, Executive & Management, and Financial Planning. I’m currently focused on the Accounting OU, which is empty for now. This is part of setting up the domain’s organizational structure before adding users, so accounts can be sorted and managed by department.

  • I’m viewing the Financial Planning OU in Active Directory, where I’ve placed three users — Seven Orellana, Brenda Stewart, and Braelynd Ceaser. This shows the department structure fully built out (HR, Finance, Engineering, Sales, each with their own Users and Computers containers), and users properly sorted into their assigned OUs so they’re organized and manageable by department.

  • I’m on the Organization tab of a user’s properties in Active Directory, filling in details for Yuji Itadori. I’ve set his Job Title to Staff Accountant, Department to Accounting, and Company to Enterprize. This is part of properly configuring user accounts after creation — adding job-related info so employees show up correctly in the directory and can be managed by their role and department.

  • I’m in Group Policy Management, editing the Default Domain Policy for ERPRIZE.COM. I’m setting the Maximum password age to 42 days, alongside other password policies like minimum length, minimum age, and complexity requirements. This is part of enforcing security standards across the organization, making sure all users follow consistent password rules.

  • I’m continuing to configure the Default Domain Policy in Group Policy Management, this time setting Account lockout duration to 15 minutes. The system suggests updating related settings too — Account lockout threshold to 5 invalid attempts and Reset account lockout counter after 10 minutes. This is part of strengthening security by protecting accounts from repeated failed login attempts.

  • In this image, I created a ticket for Arlo Wilson, describing an issue where he’s unable to reset his password on his account. The ticket includes his message explaining that he’s tried requesting a reset link multiple times without receiving any emails, along with his contact information for the support team to follow up.

  • In this image, previous to the ticket, I’m going to Active Directory Users and Computers and resetting the client’s password. I’ve navigated to Arlo Wilson’s account under the Engineering department, opened the Reset Password dialog, and I’m entering a new password for him, with the “User must change password at next logon” option checked.
