If you had the choice; what would you dream about tonight?
This is such a fun question! I thought so and immediately sent to my group chat to see what their response would be.
This is fun because the response can be so revealing about a person’s inner workings. For those that are struck with grief, a dream is a haven to be reunited with their loved ones. For others it could mean being completely limitless.
I think that’s where my choice is going to reside. My definition of a dream- more specifically when talking about sleeping- is a place where you can accomplish anything and be anyone. A little cliche sure. But it’s the truth. A dream is the only place that you can jump from a plane without a parachute and walk away with no damage. The motivation behind the dream design is also the interesting part.
So my dream for tonight would be something straight out of a Bond movie. I would be driving a sexy car. I talk like I’m a girl that’s really into cars, but I believe it’s more about the looks/aesthetics of the car. I was thinking yesterday though it could be fun to start actually doing some research about cars and finding out what brands/makes and models i actually like- and not just what i say/think i like.
And it can’t be a part of a chase. I learned that being chased or running in dreams means that you are subconsciously running from. Which explained in my early adulthood why I was constantly experiencing nightmares of running.

Instead the drive should be high speed with minimal danger. Probably more like me running late to dinner.
When I get out of the car- Im wearing something hot. Like a peak look. No hair remotely out of place. I would look like someone that is on those garage calendars.
The next part of this would consist of something breaking out inside the venue i’ve arrived at and it leads to me jumping from roof to roof. Fast and Furious meets Spiderman is the vibe i would like to accomplish whilst in this dream. Just all the cool action sequences playing out in perfect harmony. Then i would eventually take off in a hot air balloon that crashes into a cliff- where i must cliff dive into the bluest ocean I have ever seen.
I just wonder what my physical body would be experiencing during all this. 😂
Sometimes my dreams can feel so real that I can physically feel an emotion inside of my body. When I feel a certain level of fear I can feel it in my chest more specifically. Ive had memories of waking up from dreams where I was feeling the tightness in my chest. An interesting phenomenon.
My second more simplistic thought was settled on a beautiful vacation. Somewhere absolutely stunning and everything perfectly aligned to be able to completely immerse myself. My friends and kids would be together and we would be enjoying ourselves to the fullest.
A fun question I enjoyed reflecting upon!
