Things are getting interesting with Claude mods
First time Claude opend up their core product Claude Code
Disclaimer: In this article, I will be using only voice-to-text dictation to write. It might feel a bit less polished, but I am tired of reading AI-generated content; I guess you are too. So let’s give it a try. Please leave me a comment if you have any feedback. Thanks!

Several days ago, Anthropic introduced mods in Claude Code, and I think it’s quite revolutionary.
Of course, we have seen skills, we have seen plugins, and we have seen MCP servers. All of these are fantastic, but they share the same core limitation: they live outside Claude Code.
Mods are totally different because they live inside Claude Code. A mod works as a persistent plugin. It can run continuously during a session, maintain state, dynamically change the UI shown to you, pause execution for user input, and inject slash commands.
These features can totally change how your Claude Code behaves. But what really excites me is this: as AI becomes more powerful and personal, each tool can be tailored to the individual.
Think about TikTok: we are not seeing the same videos as our friends. We’re using the same app, but each person gets a different feed, tailored to their interests. That’s what we call “千人千面” in Chinese: a thousand people, a thousand different experiences.
