When midnight leaks its cold,
the stars don’t sing — they just watch.
I walk around looking for you,
carrying a heart that won’t stay.

Your voice is just an echo.

I look for your face
and catch only shadows,
still stupidly waiting for morning
to bring you back.

O moon —
you keep all my sleepless sighing anyway.
Show me where to go.
Reveal to me the path that leads me near,
for though my soul in lonely fields may lie.

It lives in hope that someday thou appear.
Love is the dark side of the moon —
so let me wait beneath your glow.
