Imagine it. The unifying event humanity desperately needs, all put together in a way you can feel. After all the buzz throughout the years, and the recent round of critical reviews to the contrary, Steven Spielberg can still deliver. And he does it with a subtle but powerful punch in the end that makes sitting through Disclosure Day worthwhile.

Disclosure Day stars Colin Firth, Emily Blunt, Wyatt Russell, and Josh O’Connor. It’s a Steven Spielberg adventure that brings together elements of government conspiracy, human drama, and questions about our existence in the Universe. And when the questions are finally answered, what a profound effect on mankind the answers will have.

Blunt plays a reporter experiencing strange events. As she sits with her boyfriend, she suddenly, and without knowing it, begins speaking fluent Russian. Later at work, as she is preparing to give the weather report, she helps a colleague by interpreting Korean, and everybody is surprised, while she’s oblivious.
