A customer asks for a brochure. Then the request grows: arrange printing, photograph the premises, run advertisements and install a sign. To the customer, these may feel like parts of one project. To a new freelancer, they can involve different skills, costs and licensing questions. The useful starting point is not “Which package is cheapest?” It is “What exactly will I deliver, and what permissions does that delivery require?”
This guide is for someone already living in the UAE who has a usable design skill and is considering a small Abu Dhabi freelance business. It is not a relocation guide, a recommendation to purchase a licence, or a promise of customers. A resident employee, a self-sponsored resident and a person outside the country should not assume that the same application route resolves their circumstances.
