Humor in a Distracted Age
Let’s get those synapses firing ! You don’t want your brain to go numb from disuse, do you? Of course not. Sorry. I should have let you answer that question yourself. On the other hand, maybe you’re already distracted by all the stuff making your head spin. “Stuff” is a jawn for everything everywhere, especially the worry that so much is falling apart.
Which brings us to:
When I showed this cartoon to some friends, one of them said, “I think even Alfred E. Newman would be worried, these days.” I assume most of you recognize A.E.N. as the cover boy for Mad magazine.
Looking for the relief of irrelevant humor, I usually can’t resist a good or bad pun. You decide which category this one falls into. More to come.
