2026 is officially 50% over! Time flies, but so do design trends. Here are the most prominent trends designers are choosing to implement in their designs and workflows.
Cinematic 3D Carousels With Different Styles
We are seeing a massive influx of 3D and cinematic carousels that add a lot more charm to hero sections and product showcases.
The following example perfectly captures the “cinematic” feel the website conveys. From the animation to the perspective 3D rotation, it quickly makes things more immersive.
A slightly different implementation of the same style would be to make these cards react to scroll or hover interactions. A suitable representation would be an exploration by the web designer Harshith.
Just because it’s a flashy trend doesn’t make it better. I hate the websites. You have all this stuff going on, but I want information.. I hate when you scroll and all this stuff just comes up on the screen. I don’t know where instead of me just…
I like that these trends focus on improving usability instead of just following visual fashion. Good UX should always make products easier to use, not just prettier.
I think the best designers don’t just follow trends, they understand why a pattern is becoming popular and whether it actually makes the product easier to use.
