Why this initiative is important. Children are the most innocent of the innocent. At the risk of stating the obvious, without children, the human race dies out.
The wholesale killing and mutilation of children in wars is an aberration that not only devastates individual lives but also imperils the fabric of our global society. Such despicable acts not only violate the most fundamental human rights but also undermine the very foundation of humanity’s collective conscience.
