Conversations Between My Younger Self and My Older Self
Once upon a time, a vibrant young guy was surrounded by friends and hooked with the purity of first love. A girl whose smile brightened up his days was the object of his deepest affection. But life had other plans. He felt helpless when he discovered one day that the girl he loved had wed someone else. The colourful world he had known gradually vanished. He left into a realm of quietness after being left alone, where days turned into years and years into decades.
He lies on his bed now, eighty years later, weak and silent, a lifetime of memories circling him like restless ghosts. On his deathbed, an elderly man lies slender and thoughtful. His younger self appears, an alive and curious person with questions resonating from the past, and the atmosphere in the room becomes uncomfortable. The young man's voice shakes with youthful innocence as he says, "Why did it all turn out this way?" The aged Person, prepared to respond, turns his tired eyes to the visitor.
