Fourth Wave No Longer Accepts AI Artwork

This is just a quick note to contributors that Fourth Wave no longer accepts AI-generated artwork. We have never wanted AI-generated text, and have refused a few stories on account of it. We recognize that no AI-detection tool is foolproof, but if we suspect a story is written by AI, and then confirm it with a tool, that’s enough reason for us to reject it. We don’t want text written by AI, or text that sounds like it’s written by AI. We want stories written in your own original and human voice.

As to graphics, we were on the fence about that. It felt fun for awhile to generate graphics via AI, and I even did it in a story or two of my own. But then Elle Beau ❇︎ pointed me toward this story written by James Finn.
