Write with us
This publication started as a place where organisational analysts of all sorts — business analysts, quality analysts, architects, product managers, UX designers — can share their knowledge and participate in meaningful discussion to essentially make all of us better in what we do.
This is a forum for you to share your thoughts and ideas, tutorials, lessons learned, and case studies on the topics of Business Analysis, Quality Management and Enterprise Architecture or any other topic that relates to analysing the business and increasing the organisational efficiency.
If you are submitting your article for the first time
- Our publication is enrolled into the Medium submission pilot, so you should be able to submit your draft to us even if you are not an approved writer yet; but you have to follow our publication first to be able to do so.
- This is limited to one submission at a time.
- Once we review and accept your article, you will be added to the approved writers and can submit more articles in the future.
- More details are explained here: https://help.medium.com/hc/en-us/articles/213904978-Add-a-draft-or-post-to-publication
- Alternatively, comment under this story to get added as a writer.
What we expect from your story
Although we like experimenting with format, there are some general guidelines that we would like you to take into account.
- We value thoughtful, insightful essays as a main type of story. Typically, it will be between 1000 and 2000 words (5–8 mins reading time).
- The key areas we are interested in are those related to business analysis, enterprise architecture, and quality management. It includes methods, standards, skills, career development, and other topics related to the key areas.
- The story must be based on your experience or research. We won’t accept marketing brochures and stories written for the sole purpose of advertising. However, feel free to include a link to your website, profile, or product at the bottom of the story; just avoid having promotional links in the body of the story.
- It is ok to use links in the body of the story to refer to the sources of data or extra resources related to the topic being discussed, as long as they are not purely promotional in nature. Keep the promotional ones at the bottom of the story.
- The story should be written in a way that provokes thinking and lets the reader learn something new or gain a new perspective. We may refuse stories that appear shallow or ones that juts mention topics without expanding on them.
- You must be the author of your story. If you cite others, please include a reference to the original source.
- Stories are accepted in English language only. We understand English may not be your first language, and it is ok if the story has some errors or the grammar is not polished. However, we expect the stories to make sense and be generally legible. A level of spell-checking before submission will also be appreciated.
What will we do with your story?
- We may share a link to your story via our social media and educational channels. This will be done using a Friend link for metered stories (read more about friend links here).
- We may include a Friend Link to your story into our LinkedIn newsletter.
- We may Feature it in our publication. Note: we are limited with the amount of stories we can feature per month; so we can’t guarantee any of your stories will be featured. We try to feature one article per week, with rare exceptions.
Please note, submitting your drafts to us you agree to the above terms. They are designed to increase our publication’s (and you personal) reach and audience; but do get in touch if you have any reservations.

This means we no longer have an option to recommend a story for Boosting across Medium distribution channels. You still have a chance to get selected for Boost; it will however be done by medium curation team, not our publication editors. All you need to do it write interesting, insightful stories what will enrich the lives of the readers — Medium will handle the rest.
Our view on GenAI
Generative AI is a tool that is meant to augment not substitute human creativity and experience. While we support the use of GenAI as a companion, we value you as a writer more. GenAI should be you co-pilot, not auto-pilot.
We’ve seen too many articles written by the same pattern; we’ve seen stories still having AI chatbot artifacts (prompts and additional questions from the chatbots). We’ve seen stories that have too many lists, quote random case studies by naming them, without analysis; stories written as a wall of white space between short sentences…
Some of them even read fine on the surface. But when you pause to think you realise they lack depth and personal touch. They offer little, there is no real voice, no spark, no personal experience or connection. It’s not how real people talk, nor how real people write.
We expect you to be real. To not be afraid to express yourself using your language, sharing your thoughts and ideas. Tell us what you think, what you have experienced, what worked or didn’t work for you. We want stories about things that actually happened. We want stories that can help someone, or spark a conversation, or provoke thinking.
Say something worth reading or don’t say anything at all.
We reserve the right to reject stories without providing extra explanation if we suspect they are mostly generated by AI or if they lack added value.
A few things to keep in mind
- Medium only allows articles to be published to one publication at a time. If your article has already been published with another publication we can’t publish it at the same time.
- Once your article is published with us, please do not remove it from our publication for at least 6 months.
- The editors may introduce minor amendments to the story such as fixing formatting, imagery, or typos. Any more significant changes will be discussed with you first.
