My Wedding Was Postponed Twice at the Last Minute

I don’t think I’ll ever forget the weeks leading up to my wedding. Not because everything went perfectly or because I had the beautiful, stress-free wedding experience every bride hopes for. Quite the opposite, actually.

My wedding was postponed twice, both times when everything was almost ready. By the time I finally got married, I was just grateful that the wedding had happened at all.

Let me explain…

Like most brides, I had spent months preparing for my wedding. The venue was booked, the invitations had been sent, and all my appointments were confirmed. Hair, makeup, hotel arrangements, and everything else that comes with organizing a wedding had been taken care of.

I was expecting around 300 guests, so there was a lot to organize. Anyone who has planned a wedding knows how much coordination goes into it, especially when you’re dealing with different suppliers, appointments, family members, and guests who need to arrange their schedules.

I had done all of that. Everything was ready, and I was finally counting down the days.
