A year ago
According to a recent article, a woman craves emotional security first of all. Fredrica has never had that, not even while growing up.
A novel usually has one despicable villain,
But three?
And the other two shouldn’t be villains, but are, since they enable the Thug. Fredrica got away from him and went into hiding, but a year later, he found her. The horrible scent of his letter told her that before she even opened it.
His extortion threats were awful from someone who is supposed to become her husband. She had to return. The story starts there.
The Story
She accidentally causes a scandal with Allan and they quickly marry. The Thug won’t accept it and go away. The extortion continued.
Everybody sees that they are perfect for each other, except the two of them. At times, I want to grab two characters in the novel and smack their heads together!
