Mother Earth, despite our irreverence to her is ever rich and generous with its abundant resources for us.
I went down to the beach one weekend and I was gifted with the sight of mussels spread in abundance by the shore. As there were no warning signs for red tide or contamination, I plucked a few shells, just enough for dinner. There I was basking in the sun for a generous supply of vitamin D and I went home with free dinner!
