Welcome to Flatbread Month at Tastyble! All October long, our writers are sharing their favorite ways to create flatbread. And we want your stories, too! Submit yours today to join the series.

Last month, Tastyble launched not only a new series but a new way of creating one. Instead of a single compilation by one author, our writers and editors agreed on a shared ingredient, and each took a turn telling how it reveals itself in their kitchens.

This month, we’re taking a look at flatbreads — more than mere pizza or focaccia. Those are just the beginning. Our team of writers is nothing if not inventive. I can’t wait to see what they come up with.

Each article will stand alone, published by its author, but together they’ll form a tapestry of how one ingredient can express itself differently depending on geography, history, climate, and our personal memories. At the end of the month, Dim and I will gather all the pieces into a final roundup so you, our readers, can enjoy the full journey.

We’re excited to share what we’ve cooked up — and even more excited to see where this baton travels next.

Did you enjoy what you read? If you’d like to read my future writings, subscribe to my email list, and you’ll be notified every time I publish a new story.
