Pretty Pedestals
These give off serious Morticia vibes!
It’s Halloween in June, witches!!! Select stores are starting to clear off the evils of the steaming season known as summer and making way for Jack O’ Lanterns and spooky specters! 🎃👻
And, of course, more Halloween crafts!
My kids spent the last week in California with their grandparents, so I had some time on my hands. I finally got around to turning these beautiful pedestals from a recent thrift score into something worthy of the Addams Family.
You’ll need the following:
- Decorative pedestals, different shapes and sizes.
- Spray paint (I chose black, but you can choose whatever you like).
- Cardboard to protect your paint surface: I used an old box from when we moved.
- Nitrile gloves.
- A shaded, open-air space.
- Hot weather.
I started with the three pedestals below. The grand total for all three was just under $10.
