hi hii

hii guys

it’s been so long

i should be asleep, have classes in like 6 hours and i’m up because of… something. it’s been on my mind for awhile, wait totally unrelated but i am totally excited and happy right now for some reason.

back to what brought me here… oh i even did something to show it, does anyone ever feel like their mind is a plate of eggs? Not raw eggs, those ones are whole and packed in a shell, they’re coherent too. not boiled eggs, even without the shell they take shape. They stick together and stand strong with smooth surfaces and sharp demarcations. i’m — we’re talking about fried eggs, not your sunny side up; that shows more of an imbalance yeah? everything is on one side while the other is just flat. we — well she said scrambled eggs, i realized it is so true and like how have i never thought of it?

so anyone?

anyone else ever feel like they’re thinking about one thing and then remember another thing which could be totally unrelated so they stop and think of something else. or while doing something you forget what you were doing because you saw something else, you could be washing dishes but then you see dirt on the floor so you stop to sweep then you get back to your room and decide to dress your bed and lay in it, after awhile you remember you are hungry so you go to use dishes but they’re just sitting there. scrambled. every piece may or may not be connected but it’s still your mind.

too busy to finish this but i’m back, currently sitting in class and i remembered, she said it’s not running away but you never know.

anyone ever find it hard thinking of one thing at a time? the egg is never in one piece, there’s always something that gets cut off, something that gets put on another, something that gets buried and everything is just mixed up. could be thinking of drinking water but then i remember i have to get up and lock my door, then i lock the door and lay on my bed forgetting about the water, till God knows when.

sometimes it’s not even one thing over the other, sometimes it’s similar things — options present in different volumes, some are overseasoned — everyone is doing it so you think you should too, some parts are under seasoned but you might enjoy it, no one is there and it’ll be peaceful for you. somehow they all just mix together.

other times i feel like i break the eggs in too fast shells get inside. they prick and crack and they taste like sand. they interrupt the flow but you can’t help it when you’re racing through thoughts.

it’s just exhausting, having to deal with thoughts that never stay constant, that keep getting tossed and turned in a frying pan and seasoned irregularly. scrambled eggs huh?

but we’re filtering them together, the eggs and maybe even some shells.

I write about the thoughts that never stop talking and the feelings we are rarely able to name— you know, usual stuff.
