I was at my threshold, an opened door
For days
Nobody heard from me, Nobody called.
For months
I was forgotten
Somebody wrote my name on the shore, only for the waves to take it away with them and erase it millions of oceans away.
And there is ocean in my eyes
Hunger in heart, for love and for kind words.
Running through mazes and throwing up my hurt on my pages
Bleeding till i am the ink and i am the story.
But Nobody called
And i was still at the threshold
Mourning who passed away one by one from my life
Leaving me with open wound and a closed mouth
Nobody has heard my voice but saw me smile
Dazzling it on every stormy night
Getting away safely to my threshold, to sit and watch-
leave them..one by one
Even hearing my name from their mouth pains me
I can hear bones breaking so I just clench my jaw and nod
But all I want to scream is- that’s not my name, don’t use it for me to call
But i just nod
And then dazzle my smile
My silence is bitter but is better than weeping my sad song
How long should i be on the threshold?
Till Somebody calls?
But i have been forgotten
And i am a skeleton
I have tried to scream, but my mouth was always stuffed
I tried to left the threshold and begged me to keep it shut
But, maybe i have read too much fiction
Maybe i have been living illusion
Of how much people love..
They cross oceans, cut mountains and tear earth...
But it was all a lie, and in a fraction of time it hurts.
So maybe i should call, but i think nobody will answer
So i don’t want to be disappointed and spread sadness in my body like cancer.
Maybe i will force myself to sleep and pray to time travel when things are better
When i am not on the threshold , staying bitter.
