Stop Sanewashing Trump! The Media Needs to Report What He Actually Says
Corporate journalists keep cleaning up Trump’s bizarre statements instead of telling Americans the truth
Donald Trump has been saying crazy things for years. And somehow, the corporate media keeps finding ways to make him sound like a normal, functioning president.
It’s an amazing trick.
Trump opens his mouth, delivers another rambling, incoherent speech, and suddenly journalists become translators. They spend hours trying to explain what President Grandpa really meant.

Translating Trump
Juliet Jeske, an independent journalist who runs the Decoding Fox News Substack newsletter, recently addressed this ridiculous situation after Trump delivered a bizarre speech in Nebraska that goaded Iran to attack American cities.
During the speech, Trump made confusing statements about San Diego and Los Angeles. Jeske posted the video, including more than two minutes of Trump’s remarks leading up to the comments.
In other words, she showed the context.
