A Touch of Magic
It changes everything
There is always that one ingredient that is needed to make a dish tastier. It is that touch of magic when added to any type of work, it makes it complete. Whether you are cooking a dish, writing a short story, article or poem, painting a piece of art or composing a song, you need to add the finishing touches to make it feel complete.
A special touch of magic makes a piece of work, feel so much better, in the mind of its creator. I am sure that if one person views another’s work, it may look complete. Ultimately, it is only the creator of that particular work who knows if it is complete.
What is that touch of magic, to make something better to elevate it to a higher level? It could be called love, an extra spoon of some secret spice, a particular brush stroke on a painting, a certain way to present an article, story or poem, that makes a world of a difference. Whatever, the “touch of magic” may be, it is only the creator who knows how, when and where to apply it to his or her piece of work.
Is there a piece of work that you are currently working on that needs a special touch of magic? I feel that the magic ingredient, comes into the mind of the creative person, when he or she is in the process of making a creation. It is a blend of creativity, imagination and putting the puzzle together, that makes a difference and comes from the heart of the creative person and is a product of the creative process. A touch of magic changes everything. Imagine the Mona Lisa, without her mysterious smile.
