If God or Genie asked me today, “You have three wishes. You can ask for anything. What would you choose?”

I know exactly what I would say.

I wouldn’t ask for a mansion.

I would ask for expensive jewellery, luxury holidays, and a life where I can worry about money.

My three wishes are much more personal.

These wishes come from the things I have lost, the things I have seen and felt, and the things I still quietly hope for.

1. I want my parents back.

This would be my first wish without hesitation.

I want my parents back—not because I am unhappy with my life today, but because I still feel there was so much left to offer them.

I was still young when I lost them.

And sometimes I think about how different life would feel if they were still here.

I want to gift my father the car he once dreamed I would buy after completing my MBA and getting a good job.
