The whole workout, through your private MCP.
Somvia gives ChatGPT, Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, and any compatible agent structured Apple Health data — down to splits, heart-rate curves, pace, power, and cadence when recorded. You choose every metric that leaves your iPhone.
What changed across my last four interval runs?
health_list_workouts → health_get_workout → health_get_workout_series
Your 1 km work reps tightened from 4:32–4:47/km to 4:24–4:31/km. In the latest run, peak heart rate was 3 bpm lower at a similar pace, while recovery stayed consistent.

Somvia gives your agent the splits, heart-rate curves, pace, power, and cadence Apple Health recorded, so it can answer real training questions.
How it works
-
Install Somvia, authorize Health
Pick exactly which metrics to share: sleep, HRV, workouts, steps, vitals. Anything you leave off is never read.
-
Sync the history you need
Choose 7 to 180 days for daily metrics. Workout sessions and available detail series can cover up to 180 days.
-
Connect a compatible client
Add
https://somvia.app/mcpas a remote connector and sign in with Apple, or use the private access token for a headless agent. -
Ask a real question
Your agent reads only the dates and detail it needs, then answers from your synced numbers — no CSV export or desktop server.
Not another daily summary.
Daily totals are useful. Training questions need the session underneath them. Somvia exposes workout data in layers, so an agent can start small and fetch deeper detail only when the question needs it.
- Workout listActivity, date, duration, distance, energy, pace, and available series.
- Full sessionSplits, heart-rate summary, power, cadence, effort, and recovery when present.
- Time seriesHeart rate, speed, route, power, cadence, or stroke rate — downsampled to the useful shape.
Works with standard MCP clients
| Client | How it connects |
|---|---|
| ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and other OAuth-capable MCP clients | Sign in once with Apple |
| OpenClaw, Hermes, and other headless or local agents | Private som_ access token; no browser sign-in |
| Streamable HTTP MCP clients | Standard remote endpoint, no custom integration |
Connect it. Then ask better questions.
Practical setup guides for each client, plus a clear explanation of the workout data an agent can actually use.

Questions
How does Somvia connect Apple Health to MCP clients?
Apple Health data lives on your iPhone. Somvia syncs only the measurements you choose to a private remote MCP endpoint. ChatGPT, Claude, OpenClaw, Hermes, or another compatible client can then retrieve those measurements through the standard MCP connection.
What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard for connecting compatible clients to external tools and data sources. Somvia exposes selected measurements as a standard remote MCP server, with no custom integration required.
Which agents and apps work with Somvia?
ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, and other OAuth-capable MCP clients sign in with Apple. OpenClaw, Hermes, and other headless or local agents can use a private som_ access token issued in the app, with no browser sign-in. Any compatible Streamable HTTP MCP client can use the same endpoint.
Does Somvia provide medical advice?
No. Somvia is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional in addition to using Somvia and before making any medical decisions. For general background, see Apple Health data, NIH sleep information, and CDC physical activity information.
Which health metrics can I share?
Sleep and sleep stages, heart rate, resting heart rate, HRV, workouts, steps, active energy, vitals, and more. Workouts can include splits, heart-rate, speed, route, power, and cadence series when Apple Health records them. You choose per metric; anything you leave off is never read or synced.
Is my health data private?
Somvia reads only the Health data types you authorize in iOS, encrypts data in transit, and stores access tokens server-side only as SHA-256 hashes. No ads, no data resale, and you can delete your account and synced data from the app at any time.
Do I need an iPhone to use Somvia?
Yes. Somvia is an iPhone app that reads Apple Health and keeps your endpoint in sync. Your agents can run anywhere: desktop, cloud, or a server.
How much does Somvia cost?
The app is free to install and set up. Somvia Pro (a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase) unlocks hosted sync and agent access. Current pricing is shown in the app.
