Time Tracker by eBillity

Pros: Keeping track of every minute for every client/project and allowing my subcontractors to due the same. Makes invoicing and paying so easy.

Cons: I don't like that if I forget to hit stop it will go on forever. I wish there were a threshold and if it goes over that time, I could get a text and the timer could be stopped somehow.

Overall: I used to used timer that came with QuickBooks and it got corrupted and discontinued. I searched and found Time Tracker. It pairs seamlessly with QuickBooks and makes invoicing a breeze. I really can't run my business without it at this point.

Pros: Kelly is a star. Every time I need help she fixes my problem. I could not use eBillity without her. Thank you Kelly.

Cons: Nothing. I deal with Kelly regularly and she is the best.

Overall: Experience is positive with Kelly's help. I don't have anything further to say.

Pros: Employees can record billable hours. It syncs with QuickBooks and makes it easy to invoice clients.

Cons: Set up could be a little more intuitive. Each time I add an employee I need to revisit the process.

Overall: Once it's set up, it works really slick! Hours come directly into QB and I can invoice the clients with confidence

Pros: Interacts with QuickBooks. Price point is on the expensive side but the employees like the ease of adding descriptions of the daily work.

Cons: Locks up often and often requires restarting the app. Sometimes timers run and can't be stopped by the employees. All users are using a desktop computer and no phone apps. We often run into employees not being able to login and start timers.

Overall: Satisfied with the product.

Pros: As an independent psychologist, sole practitioner, it gave me the flexibility to consolidate my billing and the flexibility to do my monthly invoices remotely from home. I’ve been a customer for over 12 years, and prior to using your product I would spend an entire day traveling to my two offices to construct my monthly invoices. This product has made my monthly billing a more tolerable process. Initially, when I first began with your company, I had wonderful customer service people who were available and help me get up to speed in a relatively quick manner. I have not needed your customer service in over 10 years as I have not had any issues with the product. I have recommended eBillity Time Tracker to many of my colleagues, who feel similar to my sentiments.

Cons: For my needs, I cannot find any negative aspects of your product or my interactions with your company. Keep up the good work.

Overall: Wonderful, effortless, time-saving, user-friendly and reliable. I often say to people and situations, if you cannot make my life easier, don’t make it more difficult. Your product makes my life easier. Thank you !

Pros: I like that it "integrates" with our QuickBooks accounting software.
I like that it is web based and accessible to our employees whenever, wherever.
I like that it is straightforward and easy to navigate.
Customer service is responsive.

Cons: What I don't like is that the integration with QB is quirky. Things get "lost in translation" and take a lot of time working with the development team to get straightened out.

Overall: Like the title says, TimeTracker is OK. Frankly, though, if there was an easy path to transition from TT to something that looked comparable, we would be receptive to changing. The cost of change is really the only thing that keeps us from trying something else.

Pros: I like Time Tracker because it is very simple and easy to use. They also have GREAT customer service. Anytime I have a question, I just pick up the phone, get in touch right away and problem solved.

Cons: They keep raising the price. As a solo practitioner, I am very careful with every cent I spend. I purchased Time Tracker because it is very affordable, but they keep increasing the price.

Overall: My overall experience with Time Tracker is very good and I would highly recommend it to any other solo practitioner.

Pros: It is very user friendly - not difficult to use or figure out
Every time I have had to call the customer service - it is easy and useful - not on hold forever and I speak to someone that speaks good English that I can understand.

Cons: A few little quirks - such as:
- You don't know if it actually saves changes to Employee management area
- Managers can see everybody's time card - not just who they manage.

Overall: I like the product - We thought of looking to switch since QB has their own now. But the price is about the same and the Customer service is just so much better than QB.

Pros: It is very easy to use. My staff loves it. We have set up to fit our business and we love that.

Cons: Sometimes hard to find where to set up a new employee.

Overall: It has amazing detail, it has help with billings with clients. to see the time spent on client helpful.

Pros: We use QuickBooks to invoice our clients. Our techs are able to input their tickets and time from their computers or phone. It easily uploads into QuickBooks.

Cons: Outlook add-in is sometimes a little temperamental when syncing.

Overall: This has sped up our invoicing process and we no longer have to manually input tickets into our clients invoices.

Pros: Kelly with eBillity quickly helped me with a problem on my portal. If I ever run into an issue, it is handled promptly!

Cons: I wish the mobile app was easier to use, I rely only on the desktop version.

Overall: Great! I like the software and how it syncs to QuickBooks. Customer service is great.

Pros: Time Tracker is very easy to understand for the worker who is electronically challenged. We have thousands of Service Items and they have filters so that users only see what they need in the drop down screen and nothing more. It's easy to add and remove workers. I never have trouble getting a person on the phone when I need help. The engineers are willing to upload large data files of new Service Items and that is a big time saver.

Cons: Sometimes the server can be slow but I call and ask for help and they work to improve performance right away. Service Items can not be disabled in mass. You have to remove them one and a time and that is very time consuming.
Once you remove a worker period reports do not include their time. It would be helpful to be able to retrieve data on past workers without continuing to pay the monthly fee for them.
When you have a lot of worker turnover you can't really utilize the annual discount they offer.

Overall: Overall, we are very happy with Time Tracker by eBillity and they are listen to our request and are working to enhance their system all the time.
