This article explains how to set a conversion action goal in a campaign.
Set a conversion goal in created campaign.
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 account.
- Navigate to a sub-manager or client account.
- In the page menu, select Campaigns.
- Select the name of the campaign you want from the drop-down.
- In the Filter bar, select Settings.
- On the "Campaign settings" page, select the Conversion goals drop-down.
- Choose one or both the "Conversion goals" per your requirement.

Note: You must select a conversion goal for bid optimization. Also, not all options may be available for all campaign types. Learn more About conversion goals. - Select Save.
Set a conversion goal in a new campaign.
- Sign in to your Search Ads 360 account.
- Navigate to a sub-manager or client account.
- In the page menu, select Campaigns.
- Select the plus button
, then select New campaign.
- Select a goal for your campaign, or if none of the goals fit what you’re looking for, select Create a campaign without a goal’s guidance.
- If this step doesn’t reflect what you’re viewing in your account, select a campaign type first then select a goal.
- Select a campaign type and choose any relevant settings. Learn more About Google Ads campaign types.
- Select Continue.
- In the “Budget and bidding” page, under the “Conversion goals” choose one or both the conversion goals per your requirement.

Note: You must select a conversion goal for bid optimization. Also, not all options may be available for all campaign types. Learn more About conversion goals. - Select Save.
Note: A campaign level standard goal can only be selected if it includes a “Primary” conversion action.
After you setup the conversion goal, it might take some time to show optimal performance. It is recommended to wait 2-3 conversion delay cycles before assessing the performance of your campaign with its newly chosen conversion goal.
