Hey all, a friend of mine and I wanted to take a stab at a proper short story and I set the following writing challenge for us:
Prompt: During the course of something otherwise routine/mundane, a character in your story discovers something extraordinary that changes their life forever.

Dude….thank you for suggesting we do this. I’ve been wanting to sit down and write something like this for years, but every time I find a reason to push it off until a later time. How’s yours coming along? I think I’m about halfway done before I send it to my proofreader (i.e. my mom)
