  • Your website may not be where your next sale starts. 64% of customer interactions will run through AI agents and answer engines rather than a brand's own site by 2029, according to IDC predictions. In research commissioned by Meta, IDC explores what that shift means for businesses building for agentic commerce and balancing buyer preferences with preserving customer context. Discover the three channels drawing most enterprise AI investment, the trade-offs the first two can present, and the channel your AI strategy can't ignore in the first blog of our enterprise AI series. Is agentic commerce factored into your team's AI strategy? Read the research: https://lnkd.in/g6U7FQDK

  • How many times a day does your team look up a customer’s order status? That’s a task Brazilian fashion brand TXC no longer has to do after Meta Business Partner EZ SOFTWARES LTDA built their Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp. Now, the agent can look up customer orders and reply to order status inquiries automatically, no action from a TXC rep necessary. Over a 60-day pilot, their business agent reduced average response time by 91%. So, what once took 35 minutes now takes three.* That meant quick support for customers, and more time for team members to focus on more meaningful, relationship-building interactions. • Every lead from a car buyer starts with questions. Only some of them end with a purchase. Meta Business Partner Blip built Stellantis a Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp that handles those questions first. It covers engine specs, model versions and hybrid technology for the Jeep Renegade, using Stellantis's own product information. It then qualifies each lead and passes the ready buyers to sales. Those handoffs used to be 30% of conversations. Now they're 58%.* Bruno Cotta, who runs lead management for Stellantis in South America, said it best below. • What's the one thing every business leader should do right now to stay ahead of AI innovation? Three honest takes: → Proving ROI: find the touchpoints that build real relationships, not just transactions. → Protecting your brand: engage customers where they already are, so you don't lose the direct line to them. → Staying ahead: start the conversation now, and shape your brand's voice in conversational commerce. Fred L., Heidi L Rhodes and James Detmer talk it through in the latest “Meta In a Flash” episode.

  • The end of a lease is one of the most sensitive moments in a renter’s journey. For QuintoAndar, it was also where messages to property owners went unanswered, holding up inspections and repairs. So they moved the whole process onto WhatsApp with utility messages: an automated journey that reaches owners at every stage of the end of lease, on a channel they already use daily. Property owner response rates came in 2.6X higher than their usual approach,* and the ask itself never changed, only where it arrived. • More people than ever are choosing to message businesses on WhatsApp, and the experience they expect is moving beyond simple replies. Businesses are resolving complex issues, taking payments, and now have AI agents like Meta Business Agent that work around the clock. Now, we're evolving how we meet the needs of businesses and the expectations of their customers with a new pricing model. Beginning October 1, we will charge for replies to customer messages, with the first 1,000 replies free each month. That means the majority of businesses will maintain their always-on channel free of charge. To power those messages, businesses can rely on a person or an AI solution to work alongside their teams. We're excited for the future of customer service and to be building it alongside you. Click through for full details.

  • Shoppers don't tell a website what they want. So Vasansi Jaipur and Engati built an agent that asks. Vasansi Jaipur’s Meta Business Agent on WhatsApp, powered by Meta Business Partner Engati, drove 28X more customer engagement than their previous website-led shopping journeys.* Here's how it works: the AI agent asks basic questions (what’s the occasion, budget, preferences) then shortlists pieces from the collection. When a shopper is torn, the agent can help by comparing items just like a trusted salesperson so the shopper makes the right decision. Every shopper wants a good salesperson. For the Indian luxury label, that salesperson is now one message away. See how they built it: https://lnkd.in/eDWkvCiw *Results are self-reported and not identifiably repeatable. • "Don't treat WhatsApp as a media channel. Integrate it into the entire customer journey." That single shift is what separates businesses chasing one-time conversions from those building relationships that last. Rita Janušauskaitė of Kiloverse explains to Derya Matras how they did it. 👇

  • Reaching customers isn't about more messages. It's about the right channel. Uber used the WhatsApp Business Platform across multiple touchpoints — trip notifications, customer support, and re-engagement — and saw a 2% increase in trip completion. David Cinanni, VP of Growth Marketing at Uber, shares what changed when they moved the conversation to WhatsApp. Watch the story: https://lnkd.in/eGugnUZS
