COSMIC Epoch 1.4 Released With More Fixes, Force Quit For COSMIC Monitor

System76 developers today released COSMIC Epoch 1.4 as the newest stable release to their Rust-based desktop environment.

COSMIC Epoch 1.4 brings a wide variety of fixes, cosmic-sound-theme packaging, translation updates, and some minor feature work to different COSMIC components too.

The COSMIC Compositor has seen a number of fixes for input and window handling, improving screen edge pointer accuracy with fractional scaling, and more. COSMIC Panel has seen crash fixes.

COSMIC Monitor with application quit


COSMIC Monitor has also seen additions to now allow application quit and force quit options. COSMIC Monitor also now allows switching the CPU and GPU graph types, collection of GPU frequency, and other improvements.
