GetApp Category Listings Scraper
Scrapes software listings from GetApp.com category pages — including each vendor's official website.
Example URLs
- https://www.getapp.com/project-management-planning-software/team-management/
- https://www.getapp.com/finance-accounting-software/
- https://www.getapp.com/hr-employee-management-software/
- https://www.getapp.com/collaboration-software/
Tip: paste up to 3 category URLs at once — results from all of them land in the same dataset, each tagged with the category it came from.
Point it at any GetApp category and get a clean, structured list of every product on it: name, rating, review count, description, and the vendor's own website. Download as JSON, CSV, or Excel.
What you get (most of the time, when available)
- name - The software product name
- url - Link to the product's GetApp profile page
- rating - Average star rating out of 5
- reviewCount - Number of reviews behind that rating
- description - Short summary of what the product does
- potentialWebsite - The vendor's official homepage, found automatically
- potential_domain - Just the domain of that homepage, handy for lead lists
- sourceCategoryUrl - Which category URL this listing came from
- extractedAt - Timestamp of when the row was scraped
Sample output (CSV-Friendly Flattened JSON)
{"name": "Ninety","url": "https://www.getapp.com/project-management-planning-software/a/ninety/","rating": "4.7","reviewCount": "63","description": "The EOS® Software that people Know, Love and Trust.","potentialWebsite": "https://ninety.io","potential_domain": "ninety.io","sourceCategoryUrl": "https://www.getapp.com/project-management-planning-software/team-management/","extractedAt": "2026-08-04T17:36:12.689Z"}

FAQ
How many results will I get?
Roughly 25 listings per page. With maxPages: 5 on a single category you get about 125 rows.
How accurate is the vendor website? Around 9 out of 10 listings get a website, and the great majority are correct. Very generic one-word product names can occasionally match a better-known company with the same name, so treat that column as a strong hint rather than a guarantee.
Why is a website sometimes empty? The Actor only fills the field when it is reasonably confident. A blank is deliberate — a wrong website is worse than none at all.
Does it scrape product detail pages? No. It reads the category and search result listings only.
What if it gets blocked? The Actor already runs through proxies and rotates its connection automatically. If a run still returns nothing, please open an issue on the Actor's page first — that is the fastest way to get it fixed. You can also reach me at southdionysus@gmail.com.
Point it at a category, press Start, and get a clean vendor list you can actually use.
