The catnip item itself is currently only used for crafting the cat book, sterilization potion, and if you have Farmers Respite installed, catnip tea! You can also use catnip seeds in a flower pot for potted catnip.

Planted catnip attracts cats! There is a rare chance for a stray cat to wander into your catnip garden, but beware: any cats with access to your growing catnip can and will eat it. They will try to eat any catnip growing in flower pots too.

If Serene Seasons is installed, catnip is a spring and autumn crop.
