Stacked Blocks introduces a way to compress common blocks into denser versions, saving valuable inventory space. If you have a simple chest, you can save up to 13,824 items. This will allow you to save valuable inventory space, organize your chests more efficiently and spend more time in the mine, or the nether, without having to worry about your inventory.
Here are some blocks that you can compress:
- Stone
- Cobblestone
- Wooden Logs (all types)
- Stripped Logs (all types)
- Netherrack
- Bricks
- Melons
- Pumpkins
To craft a stacked block, you'll need 8 of the original block and 1 lead item. The resulting compressed block can be deconstructed back into its original form using any crafting table, but you will lose the lead item, to avoid this, break the block using an axe or pickaxe (depending the material) to get your lead item back.
Example:

The same steps also apply for crafting stacked wooden logs and stacked stripped wooden logs.
Example:

If you have Farmer's Delight and the Stacked Blocks add-on for Farmer's Delight installed along in your Minecraft instance, you will be able to craft these blocks using rope, which can be made by using straw or a safety net.
