This release adds support for Kafka 2.x. v2.0 introduces a breaking change in configuration, requiring a kafkaversion field specified in Kafka related stages. Setting kafkaversion helps provide the best experience when consuming or publishing to Kafka by using the correct features. Previously all Kafka interaction defaulted to a Kafka 0.8 client.

This breaking configuration change is the reason for the increment to v2.0.
