Castle Doors
Castle Doors are a lockable type of door which requires a key to open. Upon placing a Castle Door, it cannot be moved and will not drop itself if broken. It is additionally difficult to break, so make sure you place it in the right place!
info relevant in CastleBlocks versions v1.0.8.3 and up! (Fabric Only!)
Castle doors are lockable and only those with keys can enter unless the doors are destroyed. They are still prone to mining, though it will take some time, or to TNT, which will make short work of the door! Keys are used to open and close the door, which must linked to the door. On placement, you will be given an already linked key as was made in the recipe for the door, to create more keys and link them to create backups and give other players the opportunity to use your door, see below!
To link another key to a castle door, give the door a redstone signal. You can then change the number of keys the door can have linked to it. Make sure you never allow this number to be higher than the number of keys you plan to have, as potential griefers and enemies could then link to your door and enter! In the event that you lose a key or it is destroyed, it will still be counted in the doors database and you must increment the number of keys for your door to have in order to pair a new one. Always have a backup key! Once a key is linked, it cannot be unbound to a door and if the door is destroyed, the key will be useless!
