Service vests are a piece of dog equipment. They take up the vest slot in the GUI. Like other equipment, service vests require a harness to be worn first.

All colors of service vest can be worn by all dog breeds, excluding the toy group. Equipping a service vest on a pit bull will unlock the "Emotional Support Animal" advancement.

Service vests can be crafted with Leather, String, and any color Dye. The default service vest is white.

Unlike the collar, harness, muzzle, saddlebags and hog vest, service vests can only be dyed in specific colors.

• Black service vests are black with several white and gold patches. They are meant to resemble K-9 police dog coats. Crafting a black service vest will unlock the "Fragile Masculinity" advancement.
• Blue service vests are blue with black straps.
• Brown service vests are a pale tan with black buckles and gray patches. They are meant to resemble a military dog vest. Crafting a brown service vest will unlock the "Fragile Masculinity" advancement.
• Cyan service vests are bright blue with white, orange and red accents for water visibility. This is meant to be a life jacket-style coat for water rescue and retrieval dogs.
• Gray service vests are dark gray with black buckles and gray patches. They are meant to resemble a military dog vest. Crafting a gray service vest will unlock the "Fragile Masculinity" advancement.
• Green service vests are soft green with a plaid pattern. Unlike the outdoor working vests, this is meant to make a dog look like a therapy or reading dog that works with children or the disabled.
• Light blue service vests are pale blue with a rainbow pattern on the back. They have black straps and gold fastenings. Crafting a light blue service vest will unlock "The Gay Agenda" advancement.
• Light gray service vests are pale gray with a medical alert symbol on the back.
• Lime service vests are day-glo yellow with black straps for high visibility.
• Magenta service vests are pinkish-purple with a rainbow pattern on the back. They have black straps and gold fastenings. Crafting a cyan service vest will unlock "The Gay Agenda" advancement.
• Orange service vests are day-glo orange with black straps for high visibility.
• Pink service vests are bright pink with a rainbow pattern on the back. They have black straps and gold fastenings. Crafting a pink service vest will unlock "The Gay Agenda" advancement.
• Purple service vests are bright purple with a rainbow pattern on the back. They have black straps and gold fastenings. Crafting a purple service vest will unluck "The Gay Agenda" advancement.
• Red service vests are day-glo red with black straps for high visibility.
• Yellow service vests are day-glo yellow with black straps for high visibility.
• White service vests are white with black straps and a red patch on the back. Thy are meant to resemble medical alert service dogs.
