Welcome to the guide on Multisite Setups in the MailChimp for WooCommerce Integration. This guide will help you understand how the plugin supports WordPress Multisites and the key points to note.
Overview
Functionality
The Mailchimp for WooCommerce plugin supports WordPress Multisites. Here are a few important things to note:
Each site that has the plugin installed is a separate connection to Mailchimp.
Deactivating the plugin disables it from sending data to Mailchimp. Upon reactivating, the plugin's original setup details will be intact. Deleting is necessary to connect a different Mailchimp list with WooCommerce.
Deleting removes the connection between Mailchimp and WooCommerce, and uninstalls the plugin from your site.
Multisite Configurations
Supported Configurations
Only subdomain Multisite configurations are supported by Mailchimp. For example, subdomain.example.com.
Unsupported Configurations
Multisites that are in a subdirectory format are not supported by Mailchimp. For example, example.com/subdirectory.
For more information about Multisite Network Administration, you can refer to the WordPress Codex.
