I just got a random popup "You reached your monthly completion limit" when I opened up my IDE (WebStorm). Also happens on RustRover, so presumably all IntelliJ IDEs. I am using Copilot Pro. Everything works fine, but this seems to be a bug.
How do I disable this? I managed to remove the Home Screen Copilot prompt bar thankfully but I can’t remove the Copilot Free add-on from my GH settings anywhere. |
Hi, i'm getting this error on every Github page. |
Just got the email announcing this. Will keep feedback short: Don't want it. Don't need it. Won't use it. |
Hi, I'm getting this error: |
Mirroring the sentiments others have expressed here: |
Does it train on code opened in VSCode? |
Wow, you automatically enabled the plagiarizing machine without user consent, and default-enabled the data-scraping mechanism which is illegal under EU DSGVO law. And there is no option to opt-out or disable Copilot again. GitHub enshittification is going great! |
You are on the right path Microsoft. But you guys should increase the current limits, they are like a joke now. Actually you should make the basic tier unlimited Copilot completely free for Visual Studio. Why would I use this when I have everything free in Amazon Q ? |
I'm thrilled to announce that this is not a positive, and it won't make anyone's life easier. All the more reason to finish moving my things to Codeberg. |
Not introducing but advertising. |
I have a paid personal subscription. How is the free tier different? |
already, a big thank you, I didn't dare use VSC anymore after my year with paid github copilot, this functionality has become essential to me, so I will be able to start coding again |

Where is it on my mobile? On my Samsung Galaxy A15, it says that I need to pay. |

The Copilot Free plan has reached its limit, but I didn't use it this month. The Message date/time has changed from when I first posted (March 2), to the day after I posted (Feb 4), back to March 2. |

Hi again! I encountered to a very annoying bug when using Copilot's Inline Suggestions. When I tell something to Copilot, It will mess up with code's formatting. For example, duplicates of a function, removal of a line, removal of semi colon or curly brackets, putting a piece of code in another line instead of the line that it should be and... |
Copilot uses the surrounding code to predict suggestions, but sometimes it
misunderstands the intent, leading to unnecessary changes. For example your
function is partially written, it may try to complete it in a way that
conflicts with your existing code.

I've tried and did not find similar function like https://docs.continue.dev/customize/context-providers#url to reference web page url when using Copilot Edit, is this available? |

When the console shows "Completion rejected" or "Completion dismissed", it counts towards free 2000 code completions? |
Ok

Now Github won't even answer my support ticket. |
It seems that despite asking, there is still no way of entirely disabling this AI nonsense in GitHub. |

I want to ask about student pack |
