I purchased this camera today (11.02.2026) at Action Market. It appears they have silently updated the hardware for model LSC 3215672. It no longer contains the Ingenic T23N SoC. If you are planning to buy this camera for use with thingino, be warned: recent stock is currently incompatible.

Description & Discovery

I initially tried to perform a flash backup using the standard SD card method, but to my surprise, it didn't work. This led me to open the camera and connect to the UART port to see the bootlog. As soon as I opened the case, I immediately noticed that the CPU was different from the expected Ingenic SoC, which the bootlog then confirmed to be an Anyka chip.

The internal board has been completely swapped to an Anyka platform. While the packaging and model number remain identical to the previous supported version, the hardware is entirely different.

Damn! Bought TWO of them also yesterday! Didn't opened them yet, but realized that the "Art. No." number printed in the box near the barcode is different from the ones I already bought a few months ago: old one (Ingenic SoC) = 3215672, new one (Anyka SoC) = 3215672.1 (notice the .1 at the end). It really pisses me off that they changed the SoC! Any alternate firmware?

Yes, very disappointing. The camera was a great deal for Thingino at that price.
Thanks for pointing out the “.1” in the item number. I hadn't noticed that because I had bought one of the cameras before. At least now we can see if we can still find some with the old hardware on the shelves.
As for alternative firmware, I only found OpenIPC, but that still seems to be a long way off. Besides, it's for the AK3918EV200, while we probably have the AK3918AV130 here. I have no idea if there are any major differences.

Hi, I managed to get an RTSP stream running on this camera with anyka chipset. There's a good chance of getting it working. I'll provide more info tomorrow.

For anyone still interested in these you can get an rtsp stream out of them relatively easily.
All it takes is inserting an sd card and with this file on it at the root "_ak39_factory.ini" (rename from .txt).

You'll have to set the ssid and wifi password settings to your access point.
And you'll also have to set the ip netmask and gateway correctly, it will not negotiate a dynamic ip address but only works via static ip you set here.
Then when you reboot the camera it will play some chinese speech (meaning something like "entering factory mode" or something) and an rtsp stream should become available at "rtsp://[camera_ip]:554/main_ch"

I'm also a decent way along to getting a custom rtsp binary using smolrtsp working on this device which should allow more custom behaviour and make it possible to completely remove all tuya related bloat.
I'll update when I have more.

I'll add some more details tonight or tomorrow but yes this is on the new SOC AK3918AV130. However one important thing to note is that these new cameras I bought last week have a new revision code and seem to be 3215672.2 not 3215672.1. this might just mean minor changes on the board or it might mean changes in the software. From my snooping around the software build seems to be from dec 2025 so I do not know how much of this applies to the 3215672.1 version.

Someone verifying whether this works on specifically the 3215672.1 variant too would be very much appreciated!

I add this ak39 in camera with revision 3215672.1 i didn't see rev 3215672.2 in my action. See the pcb there is a 2025.08.28 this is probably the same camera mayby firmware is newer.

Yes, without SD, its a regular lsc cam that works ONLY with lsc app.
