Are you sure you aren't using both the Z-Wave JS (core) and Z-Wave JS UI (community) add-on at the same time? That would be a cause of this kind of problem. You can only use one of the add-ons. https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zwave_js/#can-i-switch-between-z-wave-js-and-z-wave-js-ui Go to the Integration configuration page and confirm which Server URL it is configured for, a URL with |

Hi Kpine,
Indeed I had Z-wave js also active as an add-on (now app). However that mistake was made after this problem occurred. I reinstalled Z-wave and I erroneously installed Z-wave js first … and then Z-wave js UI. I have removed Z-wave js and reinterviewed the node … with success. Still no device ID and manufacturer ID.
Are there other solutions you can think off?

Go to the Integration configuration page and confirm which Server URL it is configured for, a URL with core would mean you are not using Z-Wave JS UI.

Hi Kpine,
I only installed Z-wave JS UI as a add-on. Do I also need to install it as an integration?

Please post the Server URL value from your integration settings.

Hi Kpine,
No, I have NOT installed any Z-wave js integration, only the Z-wave JS UI Add-on.

That sounds like you installed the Z-Wave integration with the default Z-Wave JS core add-on. You did not mention anything about re-configuring the Z-Wave integration or deleting it. So do you have the integration installed or not? If it's installed, please post the Server URL from the integration settings page.

I do have MQTT, but I don’t see Z-wave js UI in it’s list.
I also had a look at the Z-wave integration. After choosing the Silicon Labs Z-wave stick it has two installation options: the recommended installation or custom installation.
I don’t know what to enter in the socket device path.
NB HA is running on a Odroid N2+

Then how are you using it with Home Assistant? The MQTT integration?

I have 1 Silicon Labs Z-wave USB controller and 1 Z-wave Node, which is a Heatit Z-TRM3 floor heating thermostat. This worked in HA flawless for 2 years. Then, after a Z-wave JS UI update (I think) the node lost its device ID and manufacturer ID (see attachment).
I have tried everything I could think of to restore these ID's. Without the ID's Home assistant doesn't recognise the device and its features. Of course I have tried to remove the node, or to exclude it, but because it responds to pings the node can't be removed.
I also remove Z-wave and installed it again in HA, but the node information is stored on the USB controller, so it appears again.
I have two questions:
NOTE; with only one node I do not have very much experience with Z-wave. It doesn't seem easy to add the proper ID's. The ID's are easy to find on internet.
