Aeotec Smart Switch 7 after Update 1.3 doesn‘t update current

I updated the smart switch via ota to version 1.3 and had to rebind them. Now the switch doesn't trigger any report. I get new values only by manually using the 'refresh' button.

If you are using Z-UI latest please click the debug wizard button on the topbar (the one with 🔎 icon) to start a debug session and follow instructions in the dialog, otherwise make a driver log, loglevel debug.

Once done attach it here as a file (drag & drop into the text field).

According to the log, the lifeline association exists and looks correct. You can try re-interviewing the device and see if that helps. If not, you'll need to ask the Aeotec support.

Reinstalling the lifeline group did the job.

You could try a full exclusion and re-inclusion of this switch in case there was an issue with its parameter settings or changes but i doubt that is the case. My first recommendation is to re-program the switches Group Association which could help.

1. Open ZWaveJS UI
2. Expand the Smart Switch 7
3. Click on the "Group" tab
4. Remove Lifeline group association by clicking on the small red trash bin
5. Now Click on ADD
6. Input these values:

Endpoint = no endpoint / root endpoint
Group = Lifeline
Target Node = NodeID_1
Target Endpoint = no endpoint

7. Save this setting and make sure it appears on the line.

To be fair, the changelog of the update calls out that the device needs to be re-included:

I updated three switches and excluded and included all of them after firmware update. No one were sending any electric data. Two of them are working well now after re-installing the group. The third one did not even show any installed group and I could not install any new group due to not showing the lifeline selection. After pressing the switch button ( device switch to ON,) the lifeline group is shown up and the device sends electric data. Really a bit crazy.

The re-inclusion is necessary, but not sufficient. On some devices (not all) the lifeline group needs to be re-set after the inclusion. I suspect (but can't prove, all my plugs are on 1.3 already) that it randomly gets lost by the device, not just after the 1.3 update.
