Anthropic Just Launched Claude Duet, and It Wants to Run Your Morning
What Anthropic’s new research preview does, where it can help a small business owner, and how to get on the waitlist

In late October, Anthropic opened a research preview of something built to work the other way around. It’s called Claude Duet, and Anthropic says it built it “for professionals and small business owners with more on their plates than they can track.”
I run Momentum AI, where we build automations and assistants for local small and mid-sized businesses, so I read the fine print. Here’s what it does, where it can help, what it can’t do yet, and how to join the waitlist.
What Claude Duet is
Claude Duet is a separate app from the regular Claude app. It’s available on iPhone and Android, and on a computer through claude.ai. You message it the way you’d message a person on your team, by typing or by voice, in one ongoing thread.
The big difference is direction. The regular Claude app waits for you to start a conversation. Claude Duet is designed to come to you with what needs your attention.
