A Twist in the Tail for Puss
On this Saturday afternoon, Fido is feeling a bit out of sorts…and bored. He realizes that as far as intelligent conversation goes, Puss gives him short shrift, being the entitled pet that he is. Puss is a convenient target for what ails Fido:
“Ya know somethin’ Puss, I’m sick of seeing you lying there on your back all day eatin’ beef jerky…”
Puss doesn’t miss a beat and fires back: “That’s big Fido…coming from a housepet that licks it’s balls!”
“At least I don’t scratch my back with a fork!” yells Fido.
“And while were at it, Fido…your breath stinks!”
“That’s nothing compared to the stench you put out when you take a dump in your litter box!” retorts Fido. “Not to mention that disgusting way that you make a spectacle of yourself kicking up your shit crystals and flailing around in that box of yours!”
Just then mom comes out of the kitchen into the livingroom wearing a polka dot blouse and jeans and says, “I have something to tell you, Puss…Today’s your birthday!”
“My birthday??” Puss repeats.
“Yes Puss, and it’s time for us to celebrate.” mom says to Puss as she sits down next to him on the sofa.
