Honey, I’ve lost my way!
Nature’s glass rock
Amorphous love mirrors sculpted landscapes
Polar-ice caps pulsate orbs melting shapes
Trust tumbles, it randoms —heart centers in glass
As spinifex grass seals refraction's ill past
Bumble bees trance beating waning waxed wings —
Exploding by sword as the weather extremes
Dribbling so smooth when his honey is hot
Crystalline structure when his honey is not
Budding ideas bolt as lightning strikes form
Gems fusing in sand ejects fossilized storm
Violence erupts; glass optics transports
Volcanoes weigh in with obsidian quartz
Prayers search for release rocking axial voids
Fertility tektites as temperatures soar
Crystal-light drones in somersault clouds
Sweet promises made love’s driven all round
Falling to ground in honey’s glazed hour
I wonder what’s it like to be one of those girls
To sit in the sun, and look at the world and never think…
“Wow. Am I enough? — Peyton Cardoz
