Ka Ling Wu is the co-founder and CEO of Upsolve AI (YC W24), a context infrastructure platform for analytics agents. Upsolve helps data teams encode their institutional knowledge into a three-layer context architecture (Structure, Meaning, Trust) so AI agents deliver accurate, reliable, and trustworthy answers in production, not just in demos.

Before Upsolve, Ka Ling spent four years at Palantir Technologies, where she led the HyperAuto product from inception to launch (featured in Palantir's S-1) and scaled it to more than 50 enterprise customers. She later led product solution development at nPlan, a Series A AI startup, and studied engineering at Brown University. She co-founded Upsolve in 2023 with Serguei Balanovich.

On Medium, she writes about context engineering, semantic layers, agentic analytics, and why most analytics agents fail in production. The recurring theme: the model is good enough; the bottleneck is context.
